The type of birthmark guides the options
Pigmented marks, café-au-lait marks and vascular birthmarks such as port wine stains behave differently, so an assessment comes first.

Not always. Some respond well to laser, some fade or are best monitored, and some need a different approach. Your assessment explains which applies to you.
Do I need a GP referral to see a private dermatologist in London?
